Close To Home

This series of photographs were taken right as the "stay at home" orders were placed on the United States in March of 2020 during the COVID-19 Pandemic. These photos showcase the feeling of moving out of the home I had during the most memorable years of my life so far. It portrays my feelings while leaving the rooms and spaces behind that were sewn into the fabric of being; feelings of obscurity and displacement in a time when everyone was told to stay put in their homes. I felt conflicted knowing that these rooms would no longer belong to me, but they'd be in my memory for the rest of my life.
